Scene Study Class

instructed by

Vince Petronio

7 weeks from 10AM-1PM
in the Joseph W. Riker, Jr. Green Room.

October 7 to November 18, 2017

The Players is offering a scene study/story telling/monologue class for actors wanting to hone their skills.  You can come with a scene partner of your choice (but both must sign up and pay for the class at the same time) or one will be chosen for you.  You can come with a scene of your choice or one will be chosen for you. And the same goes for monologues.  If you want to embark on storytelling, come with some ideas of retelling a folk tale/myth or historical event.

Scene length: 10 minutes Maximum.

A Showcase for invited guests to see your great work will be the week after the last class – April 29th!

Strongly suggested reading before class: “True and False” by David Mamet.  This will be the acting style/aesthetic we will employ.

There will be some required out of class rehearsal.

Maximum Enrollment 12.

So sign up soon! E-mail us  at Players1909@gmail.com to register.
